Hello and Welcome!

Midlife arrives with its own kind of complexity — subtle shifts, big transitions, unexpected emotions, and a body that doesn’t always respond the way it used to. I’ve walked through many of these layers myself, and I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed, unsteady, or disconnected during this time of life.

My work is rooted in one simple belief: You don’t have to navigate it alone.
With the right support — steady, individualized, compassionate — real healing becomes possible.

🌿 Why I Do This Work

I’m Paula Cleary, and for more than 15 years, yoga has been the thread that steadied me through the changing seasons of my own life. What began as a physical practice early in motherhood evolved into a deeper study of the body, breath, and nervous system — and ultimately into the therapeutic work I offer today.

I became a Certified Yoga Therapist because I witnessed how yoga, when taught with intention and sensitivity, could help women heal not just physically, but emotionally and energetically. Over time, I found myself supporting women who were carrying anxiety, grief, identity shifts, life transitions, chronic stress, or the shock of a recent diagnosis. What they needed wasn’t a class — it was a relationship. A place to feel seen. A place to safely land.

This is the heart of my work:
real women, real lives, and real healing — one steady session at a time.

🌿 My Approach

My style is therapeutic, relational, and deeply individualized. There is no program to follow and no pressure to perform. Together, we begin with what feels most present for you — the tightness in your chest, the sleepless nights, the low motivation, the grief you can’t quite name, the pain that keeps pulling your attention. From there, we work gently, intentionally, and at your pace.

My training in yoga therapy, nervous system regulation, functional movement, meditation, and trauma-sensitive approaches allows me to tailor each session to your body and emotional landscape. The practices you receive are simple and doable, designed to fit into real life — not add to your to-do list.

This work is collaborative.
It’s supportive.
It evolves as you do

🌿 What I Believe

I believe in slow, steady healing — the kind that lasts.

I believe women in midlife deserve compassionate, evidence-informed support that honors the complexity of their lives.

I believe the body holds both wisdom and protective patterns, and when we learn to listen, real transformation becomes possible.

I believe in the power of breath, presence, and alignment.

And I believe that when a woman feels safe, seen, and supported… she naturally begins to reconnect with the truest version of herself.

Talking to you was like flipping a switch. I am looking at things from a new perspective and asking for what I need. I needed this, and you knew that. Thank you!

🌿 A Little More About My Training

I am a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and a certified yoga therapist through Breathing Deeply Yoga Therapy School. I also hold several additional yoga certifications, including meditation, mindfulness, and Yin, which allow me to offer practices that are both grounding and deeply restorative.

Beyond yoga, I am a certified health coach and a HeartMath® coach, which means I can weave in evidence-informed tools for stress regulation, emotional resilience, and heart–brain coherence to complement our yoga therapy work in a unique way.

I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Regis College, and I bring a blend of professional and life experience, along with long-term practice, to how I sit with and support my clients.
